  • Trainees will gain certification through mentoring & guidance

Micro-credentials

Micro-credentials may be earned independently or all together.

Internship

  • Responsibilities of trainees: assist lead teachers; take initiative to plan, teach, and assess; follow school’s service rules; fulfill requirements of certifying institution
  • Responsibilities of mentors: to give helpful feedback on tasks; to observe lessons; to guide trainees to successfully fulfill requirements of certifying institutions

  • Focus School, Noor Khan Bazar Campus
  • Focus High School, Purani Haveli Campus
  • Focus High School, Darushifa Campus

Assessment & certification

    1. Assessment is at 3 levels, depending on the trainees’ years of experience
    2. E-portfolio tasks
    3. Remotely proctored tests of 2.0-3.0 hours and of 200 questions related to the micro-credential
  • Assessment by Focus Teacher Training Centre
    1. Portfolio of tasks
    2. Classroom observations by mentor
    3. 95% attendance throughout the course (i.e. workshops, lectures and internship)

Fees

  • Amount: Rs 5000 per micro-credential or Rs 25,000 for full certification
  • Payment due dates: 5 Jun, 5 Sep, 5 Dec, 5 Mar

Calendar and timetable

  • Start & end dates:29 May 2020 to 15 April 2021
  • Internship timings: Mon to Thur 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Theory timings : Fridays and 3rd Saturdays 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
