Weekly lesson report (No.): 14            Date: 09-09-19 TO 14-09-19 Class: 2A                           

 

Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile focussed this week was Balanced. Students who are BALANCED are healthy and are aware that eating properly and exercising is important in their lives. They understand that it is important to have a balance between the physical and mental aspects of their bodies. They spend time doing many different things.

Upcoming activities/ HW: 

 How can parents help to develop students who are well-balanced at home?

o Encourage your child to participate in a wide variety of structured activities.

o During less structured time, also be aware of the activities that your child is participating in. Too much time in front of the computer or television is obviously not desirable, but all kids need to do a variety of things. Generally active kids should take time for quiet reading or reflection; students who spend a lot of time drawing or reading, should be encouraged to also exercise and play.

o Discuss the food groups with your child. Spend a few minutes during a mealtime deciding if what your family is eating is balanced

 Students brainstormed and discussed the healthy & 

harmful choices  for physical, mental and social wellbeing and wrote the same in the note books.

Learner profile attribute we focussed this week was ‘REFLECTIVE’,students who are REFLECTIVE know what they are good at and what they’re not. They try to think about these things, and they make changes where they can. They give thoughtful consideration to their own learning and consider their personal strengths and weaknesses in a constructive manner. Students reflected on their learning and on learner profile as well.

  • Students were engaged in the phone call activity where they conversed with their partner on the given scenarios like inviting for a party, inquiring about any item in a shop, sharing about a visit to the zoo, inquiring about a paediatric doctor in a hospital 
  • Students were engaged in the navigation activity where one partner was blind folded and the other guided to show directions to pick things cross the hurdles and reach the destination.
  • Students made a timeline of various means of communication.

اُردو کی نظم اچھا بچہ کو ایک مرتبہ پڑھیں گے اور دوبار اس ہی نظم کو اکشن کی مدد سے پرھتے ہوئے زبانی یاد کیا گیا۔ 

مفرد حروف تہجی الف سے ے تک کے حروف کو بنا دیکھے لکھا گیا اور مرکب حروف سے آنے والی تصاویر کو پہچان کر ان کا پہلا حرف لکھا گیا۔
