Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner Profile attribute which was focused this week was “Inquirer and communicator”. 

  •  Being an inquirer helps the child to develop curiosity. They acquire the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research and show independence in learning. They actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.



  • Being a communicator students express themselves confidently and creatively in more than one language and in many ways. They collaborate effectively, listen carefully to the perspectives of other individuals and groups.”



CIRCLE TIME: Students recited rhymes.

They inquired about different fruits and their colors. They inquired about the benefits of eating fruits and their uses. Plz go through the link to know the importance of circle time.

Activities done this week: 

  1. Students inquired about different fruits.
  2. They inquired about the benefits of eating fruits and the uses of fruits. The kids enjoyed the fruit party. They were able to speak about the characteristics of fruit that they brought to school.

Subject: Math

    • Activities done this week: Students recapitulated numbers 1-7with their values.
    • Students learnt new number “8” with its values.
    • They recapitulated pre mathematical concept “hot-cold”


  • Students recapitulated shapes. 


  • Students were able to arrange the fruits in sequence according to the patterns. This was integrated with EVS.
  • These activities helped the students develop cognitive and pre math skills.

Activities done this week: Students recited rhymes during circle time.

  • Students recapitulated letters with their related objects.
  • They learnt new letter “h” with its related objects.
  • These activities helped the students develop cognitive and language skills.

READING: Students were able to identify the pictures through reading books.

Subject: Art

  • Activities done this week:  Students enjoyed scribbling with crayons and chalks.
  • The kids enjoyed pasting wool in the given fruit.
  • The kids enjoyed colouring in a particular fruit.
  • Students enjoyed colouring in a ball.
