Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile which will be followed next week on their ongoing topic Energy’ will be Thinker. Thinkers exercise initiative in applying thinking skills critically and creatively to recognize and approach complex problems, and make reasoned, ethical decisions.


 Upcoming activities / HW: The learner profile attribute that was explained last week was based on their ongoing topic ‘Energy’ is Knowledgeable. Students developed and used conceptual understanding and explored knowledge across a range of disciplines. Students engaged with issues and ideas that have local and global significance. 


Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

TRANSDISCIPLINARY THEME – How the world works. 

Central idea:  Energy is derived from a range of resources and used in various ways.


Lines of inquiry: 

  • Forms of energy and resources.
  • Transformation of energy.
  • Various uses of energy.


Activities done this week:

  •  Students watched videos on energy transformation followed by the class discussion.
  • Students did a hands on activity on energy transformation.


Upcoming activities/ HW: Submit working models on any energy transformation on Monday.


Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 


  • Students were introduced to the new topic Lines.
  • Students defined the point, line, line segment and ray.
  • Students related the given topic with different examples in our day to day life.
  • Students also defined Different types of Lines I.e Parallel lines, Perpendicular lines and Intersecting lines.

Upcoming activities/ HW:

Differentiate the English alphabets among different lines. Work given in C.W.


Subject: English

Activities done this week:


  • Various activities were done to strengthen speaking skills in students. Students discussed their understanding of the unit energy and shared it with the class.


  • Kinds of adjectives were taught in detail. Students came up with examples for each kind of adjective.


  • Students also wrote a journal entry based on the ongoing unit. They were asked to add detail to their writing to make it more meaningful.


  • Author study was done. 
  • Students read levelled books during Guided Reading.        
  • OBS cards were done based on student’s reading levels.


Upcoming activities/ HW: Worksheet based on the kinds of adjectives given.


Subject: Hindi

Activities done this week:

पुनर्कथन  करवया गया |कहानी को पढ़कर उस कहानी के सार को समझकर अपने शब्दों मे लिखाया  गया |

विलोम शब्द को कहानी द्वारा अवगत करवाया गया | उसके पश्चात विलोम शब्द  को पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया |
