Activities done this week: 

The learner profile which was followed this week was Inquirer students developed their natural curiosity. They acquired the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and researched to show independence in learning. They actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

 

TRANSDISCIPLINARY THEME – Where  we are in place and time.

 

Central idea:  Energy is derived from a range of resources and used in various ways.

 

Lines of inquiry: 

  • Forms of energy and resources.
  • Transformation of energy.
  • Various uses of energy.

 

Activities done this week: 

  • Students did various activities in tuning in to the new topic Energy. 
  • Students looked at all the transdisciplinary theme descriptors and identified the theme for their upcoming unit.
  • Students identified the sources of energy in their surroundings and recalled a few from their prior knowledge
  • Breaking up of central idea was done. Students understood the central idea and related it with the key concepts. 

 

Upcoming activities/ HW: Create a story of a character who migrates from one country to another. Story must be organized and include all the elements of the story. Story must include at least 2 push or pull factors and the effect of migration must be clearly evident in the story.

  • Students were able to read , comprehend and solve the word problem .
  • Students learned easy steps to solve the word problems.
  • Students were able to identify the units present in the word problem.
  • They were able to link the unit with the key words for the statements.

  •  Word problems activity sheet pasted in class work.

 

 

Subject: English

Grammar: 

  • Singular and plural nouns were done
  • spelling rules were discussed

Reading: 

  • Task cards were done
  • Novel study was continued

 

Writing: Students wrote a journal entry based on the ongoing unit. They were asked to add detail to their writing to make it more meaningful.

 

Guided Reading: Students understood in detail, the strategy of reasoning. They did various activities in identifying the causes and effects in a story.

 

Upcoming activities/ HW: Worksheet based on singular and plural nouns spelling rules is given in the notebook

Activities done this week: 

  • part of speech اردو زبان میں قواعد کے اہم حصوں کو پڑھانا تاکہ کسی کہانی کو پڑھتے وقت آسانی سے طلاب سمجھ سکیں کہ الفاظ کی حیثیت کیا ہے https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_3pqT893aI 
  • تین حرفی الفاظ کو پڑھنا لکھنا سیکھا گیا اور ” مہاجر نامہ ” کے اشعار بچوں کو یاد کرنے کے لئے دیئے گئے تاکہ وہ مشاعرہ میں حصہ لے سکیں ۔ 
  • نظم ” ہوا چلی ” ترنم سے پڑھایا گیا اور لکھوایا گیا ۔ ان  میں سب سے اچھی تحریر میں لکھی گئی کاپی کی تصویر ذیل میں ہے

  •        دو حرفی اور تین حرفی الفاظ کا ” املا ” ہے تیاری کریں 

پڑھائے گئے قواعد کے اہم حصوں کو یاد کریں ، اور اشعار کو یاد کریں تاکہ مشاعرہ میں حصہ لے سکیں

दिए गए उपविषय पर समूह गतिविधि द्वारा  वाक्य लेखन करवाया गया |

छात्रों को कहानी के दवारा संज्ञा  से अवगत कराया गया संज्ञा की परिभाषा देते हुए स्पष्टीकरण के  दवारा संज्ञा

मे  लेखन तथा वाचन खेल गतिविधि दवारा करवाया  गया   |

पुर्नकथन करवाकर  संज्ञा के भेद को समझाया और लिखवाया गया   |

Activities done this week: 

Students wrote the Dictation in words.

Students read and wrote the Dvita aksharalu.

Students practiced the Varnamala and they completed the incomplete work in the class.

Activities done this week: For Art:Students did the madhubani painting with pencil and colour pencils in their drawing books. 

For Craft: Students made friendship bands for their friends for friendship day.

 

Subject: ICT

Activities done this week: Students learnt to edit a poster by editing a background and they completed making posters on independence day.

Subject: P.E-

Activities done this week:students did high intensive warm up,and learn about what type of energy is used for running and bouncing the ball play.

Subject: Library

Activities done this week: Students read the story book and completed the worksheet of How to give the Book Talk followed by book talk presentation

Upcoming: Independence Day will be celebrated.

 

Notice: 

Dear Parent

School will remain closed on Mon 12  and Tue 13 Aug 2019 on account of Eid Ul Adha.

As a mark of love for our country students of C1-C5  should come to school on Thu, 15 Aug from 8:25-11:00 am to celebrate Independence day. Students should come to school in traditional Indian dress with minimum accessories.
