Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute that was explained this week based on their ongoing topic ‘Governance’ is Knowledgeable. Students developed and used conceptual understanding and explored knowledge across a range of disciplines. Students engaged with issues and ideas that have local and global significance. 


Upcoming activities / HW: The learner profile which will be followed next week in connection to our unit ‘Governance’ is Inquirer. Students will develop their natural curiosity. They will acquire the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research and show independent learning. They will actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.

Topic: Governance 

Central idea: Government systems influence the lives of citizens

  • How decision-making practices reflect human rights
  • Impact of Government on citizens
  • The rights and responsibilities of citizenship


Activities done this week: 


  • Students watched videos on the “Seven habits of happy kids” by Sean Covey and discussed the qualities of a Leader.
  • Students gained an understanding of the different types of Government and how they function.
  • Students attended the mentor meetings for the upcoming PYPX

Frame questions that you would like to ask the guest speaker (Mr. Azhar Maqsoosi) about his efforts in curbing hunger in the city


Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 


  • Students defined prime and composite numbers, factors and multiples also.
  • Students were able to identify prime and composite numbers. 
  • Students found factors multiples of a given number.
  • Students also found the prime factorisation by factor tree method.
  • Students also learned to find prime factorisation by division method.


Upcoming activities/ HW:

Homework given in class work.




Subject: English


Various activities were done to strengthen speaking skills in students. Students discussed their understanding of the Global Goals and shared it with the class.Students learned new words and their synonyms and used them while conversing with peers and teachers.JAM session was conducted. Students learned vocabulary to replace commonly used words and enhance their speech.




Students wrote a journal entry based on the ongoing unit. They were asked to add detail to their writing to make it more meaningful. 




Author study was done. Students read levelled books during Guided Reading.

کہانی ” ایمن کا بستہ ” بولو ایپ سے پڑھیں اور اس کے سوال و جواب کریں ۔ سوال کے جوابات دینے کا طریقہ سکھایا جائے گا 

فعل کی تعریف اور اس کی قسمیں پڑھائی جائے گی ۔ اور اسے جملوں میں استعمال کرنا سکھایا جائے گا 

بچوں کو اپنے پلان سے با خبر کرنا کہ ہمیں ” نمائش ” کے موقع پر کیا اور کیسے کرنا ہے ۔ نکڑ ناٹک ” صنف کے اوپر کرنا ہے اس کی معلومات دی جائے گی
