Subject: Learner Profile            


Activities done this week: The learner profile which was followed this week in connection to our ongoing unit ‘Identity’ was Inquirer. Students developed their natural curiosity. They acquired the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research and showed independent learning. They actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.


Upcoming activities / HW: The learner profile attribute that will be explained next week based on our ongoing unit ‘Identity’  will be Knowledgeable. Students will develop and use conceptual understanding and explore knowledge across a range of disciplines. Students will engage with issues and ideas that have local and global significance.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry


Topic: Identity 

Central idea:  A person’s behaviour & how they choose to present themselves project aspects of their identity

Lines of inquiry: 

  • How appearance & behaviour influence our perception of others.
  • The influence of cultural & Social norms on how we choose to present ourselves
  • Fashion as a form of expression

Activities done this week: 


  • Students came up with examples of how cultural and social norms influence on how we choose to present ourselves.
  • Students made the lines of inquiry for the PYPX based on the targets of their chosen SDG. 


Upcoming activities/ HW: Come Prepared for the Summative Assessment on Wednesday. Define fashion and share your perspectives about a fashionable person.

Various activities were done to strengthen speaking skills in students. Students discussed their understanding of the Global Goals and shared it with the class.Students learned new words and their synonyms and used them while conversing with peers and teachers.JAM session was conducted. Students learned vocabulary to replace commonly used words and enhance their speech.




Compound Sentences was taught in detail. Students gained an understanding of forming compound sentences. 




Students wrote a journal entry based on the ongoing unit. They were asked to add detail to their writing to make it more meaningful.




Author study was done. Students read levelled books during Guided Reading.

مثبت اور منفی جملوں کی تفریق اور تبدیلی پر کام کرایا گیا تاکہ انہیں قواعد کہ یہ دونون حصوں سے واقفیت بھی رہے۔ 


دیئے گئے عنوانات پر گفتگو کرنا اور طے کرنا کہ ” ایکزیویشن ” میں کیا کیا جائے ۔  دعا ، ڈرامہ ، نکڑ ناٹک وغیرہ 


“ یوم اردو میں جن بچوں نے شرکت کیا اور سند یافتہ ہوئے ان کی تصاویر دیکھنے کے لئے ” فیس بک ” دیکھیں

Focus School is organizing Sports Day at GoshaMahal Police Stadium. Kindly drop the students directly at the venue on the mentioned timing and pick them back from the ground. Please send the child dressed in PE uniform along with a water bottle, cap and healthy snack.
