Activities done this week: The learner profile which will was followed this week in connection to our unit ‘Peace and Conflict’ was Inquirer. Students developed their natural curiosity. They acquired the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research and showed independent learning. They actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.

Central idea:  Finding peaceful solutions to conflict leads to a better quality of human life

Activities done this week:

  • A read-aloud was done for the book ‘How full is your bucket?’ By Tom Rath. 
  • Students Identified Personal causes of conflict and came up with Examples.
  • Students Identified Local causes of conflict and came up with Examples.
  • Students made a graphic organizer for Personal and Local conflicts along with the teacher.

 

Upcoming activities/ HW: What are the ways in which you can show kindness at home and in your locality…? Choose a Peace Project that you wish to work and design a plan.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

NUMBER SYSTEM

  • Students wrote their first summative assessment.
  • Students played multiplication quiz by Dodging the ball to learn multiplication tables.
  • Students were introduced to a new topic of Multiplication.
  • They were able to identify the usage of multiplication in daily life.

 

Upcoming activities/ HW:

Write multiplication tables from 5-12 in your classwork.

 

 

Subject: English

Activities done this week:  

  • Various activities were done to strengthen speaking skills in students. Students discussed their understanding of the unit ‘Peace and Conflict’  and shared it with the class.

Writing: 

  • Students came up with ideas and wrote a descriptive passage along with the teacher.
  • Summative Assessment was conducted 

Reading: 

  • Novel study was done. 
  • Students read levelled books during Guided Reading.
  • Students read leveled task cards and completed the activity that followed.

Activities done this week: تمام بچوں کو دو حرفی بنا ملے ہوئے الفاظ لکھنا اور پڑھنا سکھایا جارہاتھ اس کے لئے ایک خوبصورت انداز اختیار کرتے ہوئے دو حرفی ملے ہوئے اور بنا ملے ہوئے الفاظ پڑھائے گئے ۔

بنا ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ کی مثال :  ان ، اس ، دم ، رک ، وہ ، اس   ، اڑ ، رن ، زن ، زم ، در ،   ڈر وغیرہ 

ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ :     کم ، جن ، جب م شب ، گل   ، سن ، شر ، جگ ، کل ،    جل ، کٹ ، وغیرہ 

وہ کون سا پرندہ ہے جس کو سر پر پیر ہوتا ہے ؟ اس کے جواب میں طلباء نے جن پرندوں کا نام بتایا اس کو بورڈ پر لکھا گیا بچوں نے نقل کیا پھر اس کا ” املا” ہوا اکثر بچوں نے مشق نہ کرنے کی وجہ سے پرندوں کا نام لکھنا نہیں سیکھا

       گھر پر زیادہ سے زیادہ دو حرفی ملے ہوئے اور بنا ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ لکھنے کی کوشش کیجیئے تاکہ اسے لکھنے کی عادت پیدا ہو یقین کے ساتھ صحیح لکھ سکیں ۔ 

لکھائے گئے پرندوں کے نام لکھنا سیکھیں تاکہ ” املا” میں درستگی آئے ۔

  • आकलन के लिए अभ्यास करवाया गया |
  • शब्द लेखन से अवगत करवाया गया  |जैसे _ कमल- कल, मल, कम | इस प्रकार शब्द लेखन करवाया  गया | 
  • प्रथ श्रुतलेख दिया  गया उसके उपरांत वाचन करवाया गया |

Reading and Summative  Assessment was done.

Students wrote the సరళ పదాలు of givens letters.

Activities done this week: Students logged into infographic (poster making) and created a poster on peace and conflict.

Activities done this week: Sports day practice ( students started practicing for march past ) followed by handball play to improve teamwork.

Subject: Library

Activities done this week: Students made a book with colour paper designed the cover page and created their own stories and turned the colour paper book into a wonderful Mini Story Book.
