Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week:The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week for their unit ROLE MODEL was being an INQUIRER & THINKER. It means to do research to get new ideas and scratch their heads about different qualities that their role model should possess. It was great to see the children being little inquirers putting on their thinking caps by identifying the different qualities about their Role model, and also trying to understand and absorb the new information gathered. 

Upcoming activities / HW:

IB Learner Profile Inquirer would be focused. Students will learn to be Inquirers to learn new qualities and emulate it from different personalities.

THEME:   How We Organize Ourselves

UNIT:-  Natural Hazards

CENTRAL IDEA:-  Human beings have devised ways to prepare for and cope with hazards.


      1.The different natural disasters.

  1. The impact of hazards on the environment.
  2. Ways in which people cope with hazards.


  • Students were introduced to the new theme,explained the central idea and found the synonyms of the given words.

Activities done this week: 


  • Students solved word problems by their analytical thinking.
  • Students found the sum of the numbers on Khan Academy 
  • Students were introduced to AQAD question and suggested to log in and solve daily.

  1. Sight words and vocabulary words recap was done .

Activities done this week:

  • اردو قواعد، زمانے اور اسکی قسمیں، زمانۂ ماضی، حال،،مستتقبل پڑھانا اور اسے سمجھانا تاکہ طلباء جملوں میں زمانے کی پوشیدگی کو سمجھ سکیں https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RL-31e8wtk0 
  • دو حرفی ، تین حرفی الفاظ پڑھایا گیا ۔ اس کے لئے کہانی ” رنگوں سے محبت ” پڑھائی گئی 
  • “رباعیات ” مختلف موضوعات کتا ، بلی، گھوڑا ، بجلی ، ہاتھی وغیرہ پر رباعی لکھی اور پڑھی جا رہی ہے ۔ اور یاد کی جا رہی ہے ۔ اکثر بچوں نے ۵ رباعی یاد کرکے سنایا ۔ کچھ بچوں نے نہیں سنایا ۔

  •  دو حرفی ، تین حرفی الفاظ کا ” املا ” ہوگا تیار ہوکر آئیں 
  •  چودہ ۱۴ رباعیات میں سے کوئی دس سنا جائے گا اسے زبانی یاد کرلیں ۔

Activities done this week: 

पुनर्कथन करवाकर संयुक्त व्यंजन  से अवगत करवाया गया संयुक्त व्यंजन किसे कहते है संयुक्त व्यंजन कौनसे है  छात्रों से प्रशन पूछे गए उसके उपरांत संयुक्त व्यंजन से सम्बंधित शब्दों को पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया |

आकलन के लिए वचन संख्या और संख्या के नाम तथा वाक्य लेखन मे अभ्यास करवाया गया |
