Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week:The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week for their unit ROLE MODEL was being an INQUIRER & THINKER. It means to do research to get new ideas and scratch their heads about different qualities that their role model should possess. It was great to see the children being little inquirers putting on their thinking caps by identifying the different qualities about their Role model, and also trying to understand and absorb the new information gathered. 

Upcoming activities / HW:

IB Learner Profile Inquirer would be focused. Students will learn to be Inquirers to learn new qualities and emulate it from different personalities.

2.Students wrote their interpretations of the 7 Habits in their UOI book.

3. Students  brainstormed on what it means to be proactive and reactive and did the activity ”CIRCLE OF CONTROL” for HABIT-1, with the given situations and for Habit-2, students did a task sheet wherein they cut & paste the consequences of having a plan and not having a plan.

4.Students also brainstormed on Habit-3, Put first things first – responded to a Disaster Scenario prioritising what to keep and what to do & do work first and then did  task sheet(sorting activity).

Activities done this week: 

ADDITION:

  • Students practiced addition of numbers by arranging them in proper place value.
  • Mental math addition activities by playing Addition High Fives in the class.
  • Students had a thought full activity of addition problems in the class.
  • Students also learned to solve the addition Math problems horizontally.

Activities done this week:  

READING & WRITING:-   

  1. Students read the level -2 task cards and answered the questions.
  2. Sight words and vocabulary words recap was done .
  3. Students were introduced to the writing process and each step was explained and discussed and students were made to  write steps and points.
  4. Students made the cover page and started writing the biography of their role model using writing steps. 

Listening and SPEAKING:- 

  1. Students read a passage from the story book  in front of the class.

  1. Students were introduced to verbs and wrote definition with examples.
  2. Students did practice exercise in their notebooks.

Activities done this week: 

  • دو حرفی الفاظ بچوں نے جو بتایا وہ کس زمرہ میں جا رہے ہیں ملے ہوئے یا بنا ملے ہوئے ۔ اسے بورڈ پر دو الگ حصوں میں لکھنا  گیا تاکہ بچوں کو زمرہ معلوم ہو سکے ۔ کہ انہوں نے جو لفظ بولا ہے وہ ملے ہیں یا علیحدہ ہیں ۔ انہیں لکھنا ، اور اس کی بلند خوانی کرنا سکھایا گیا ۔

  • بچوں کو الگ الگ موضوعات پر ” رباعیات ” پڑھائی گئی اور لکھوایا گیا  تاکہ ان میں مختصر جملوں کو پڑھنے آ سکے اور دلچسپی بر قرار رہے ۔ اور ان کے دو حرفی اور تین حرفی الفاظ پر غور فرمائیں ۔

पुनर्कथन करवाया  गया | वाक्यों को  एकवचन से बहुवचन मे  परिवर्तित किया गया |

शब्दार्थ से अवगत करवाया  गया | उसके उपरांत उसका अर्थ लिखवाकर उन शब्दों का  वाक्य मे प्रयोग   करवाया  गया |

पुनर्कथन  करवाया गया | छात्रों को शब्द देकर उससे  सम्बंधित वाक्य बनवाए गए |
