Activities done this week:

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that was explained this week for the for their  topic Media was being REFLECTIVE & BALANCED.  As we concluded the topic, it was great to see the children reflecting the impact of Media in their lives and how they could find ways to make media most effective, they brainstormed and communicated to share their ideas to the class and also answer the questions prompted to them.

Upcoming activities / HW

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that we will emphasize next week for their new topic FORCES will be INQUIRER & THINKER.   The activities that you can do for the Learner Profiles mentioned above are as follows, You can make a visit to a library to borrow books that are about their interests and hobbies, You can make research on the net about a subject that you decide on to develop your chıld’s internet intellection, You can encourage your child to think about the different solutions to any problems,  You can make your child think about different and real-life issues

UNIT:-  Forces

CENTRAL IDEA:- People apply their understanding of forces to solve problems. p

LINES OF INQUIRY:-  

  1. 1. Different types of forces.
  2. How forces affect our world.
  3. How understanding of forces help us to solve problems. 

 

LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS:  

  1.      Pre-assessment:-
    1. Students identified the new theme talk about the descriptor and central idea & lines of inquiry.

      Tuning In:-

    1. Students were tuned in to their new topic Forces, and the students moved around to the provocation centers in the class do the activities(pair in with 6’o’ clock buddy, different stations had( open door, close drawers, hole punch, staple papers, turn on & off the fan, sharpen the pencil and discuss on and its importance of what they have done. 
    2. Students discussed the activities done and why the application of force is importance and also answer the questions posed to them(Oral activity). 1. What is force? 2. What type of force do we need in our daily life & why? 3. How does force makes our work easier? 
    3. Students described & classified the different types of forces from the video watched for  LOI-1

    1. Students made a mind map on types of forces, experiment for gravitational force and electrostatic force, drawing examples for each type of force, video on gravitational and frictional force, they will do the simple experiments for the different types of forces learnt(Muscular force, electrostatic force, gravitational force, mechanical force, Magnetic force, Frictional force)

  • Students were introduced to DMAS rule and when is it used .
  • Students were able to identify the use of DMAS rule.
  • Students practiced problems using DMAS rule step by step.

READING & WRITING:-  

  1. Sight words and vocabulary words recap was done .
  2. Students read the Charlotte web chapter4 and answer the multiple choice questions.

1.Students read their level storybook in the guided reading period and tried to summarize the story .

  1. Students were introduced to Articles and did practice work in class.

Activities done this week:  دو حرفی الفاظ اور ان سے بننے والے جملوں کو لکھنا سکھایا گیا اور پڑھنا سکھایا گیا ۔ “ یوم اردو “ کے لئے نظمیں لکھوائی گئی جو بچہ ایک منٹ میں چار رباعی پڑھے گا اس کی مدد کرنا اور اسے مقابلہ تاک پہنچانا ہے ۔ انشاء اللہ ۱۹ دسمبر کو “ انٹر اسکول مقابلہ “ ہے جس کی تیاری کی جاری ہے۔ سبھی طلباء “ تحریری مقابلہ “ کے لئے کمرہ جماعت میں دس منٹ میں ایک کہانی خوبصورت تحریر سے لکھنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں ۔   

 

Upcoming activities/ HW:   ہر روز کوئی ایک کہانی مختصر سی لکھوائیں تاکہ “ تحریری مقابلہ “دیا گیا صفحہ دیکھ کر خوبصورت لکھ سکیں ۔ گھر پر روزانہ “ نقل “ لکھنے کی مشق کرائیں تاکہ آپ کا مقابلہ میں شرکت کر سکیں ۔

कहानी के द्वारा पशु  के नाम से अवगत करवाया गया  | पशु के नाम वर्ग पहेली मे से चुनकर पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया |

कहानी के द्वारा पक्षी के नाम से अवगत करवाया गया  | पक्षी के नाम वर्ग पहेली मे से चुनकरर लिखा गया | 

स्टोरी वीवर्स पर कहानी छात्रों को उनके वाचन स्तर के अनुसार कहानी को पढ़ाया गया  | जिसका वाचन उतम था उसके लिए विशेष ताली बजाई गई |
