The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that was explained this week for the for their topic Media was being COMMUNICATOR.  It was great to see the children putting on their thinking caps, identifying the different kinds of Media, brainstorming and communicating to share their ideas to the class and also answer the questions prompted to them.

Upcoming activities / HW

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that we will emphasize next week as well will be COMMUNICATOR. You can motivate your child to get in touch with other people in the World or some relatives or friends via writing letters, emails or telephones.This attribute will help them to shed their shyness, become critical thinkers and share their ideas.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

THEME:-  How We Express Ourselves

UNIT:-  Media

CENTRAL IDEA:-  The media informs, influences and reflects the values and opinions of its audience.


      • The different kinds of media and their roles


  • The impact of media in our lives .


    •  Ways to make media effective.


Finding Out:-

  1. Students reflected on their media habits and also brainstormed & talked about the advantages and disadvantages of social media. They also generated questions for the survey about the media used by different age groups.
  2. Students learnt about the elements of print advertisement, wrote notes about the elements of print advertisement and were asked to collect advertisements from newspapers or magazines and find out five elements of print advertisement.
  3. Students collected the samples of advertisement from the newspaper and magazines and identified the elements of print advertisement . 

Sorting Out:-

  1. Students discussed and wrote the advantages and disadvantages of social media.

Making Connections:-

  1. Students made connections to their learning and made timeline for the different types of Media.

Activities done this week: 

Number system ( Multiplication)

  1. Students learned different properties of Multiplication and did practice sums on it.
  2. Students played quiz on Khan Academy to improve their logical thinking skills.
  3. Students were able to multiply a number by 1 digit number.

Subject: English

Activities done this week:  


  1. 1. Task Card: Students read texts at an appropriate level, independently, confidently and with good understanding and comprehend what they read(OBS-Task cards activity) to strengthen & enhance their linguistic skills and did the follow up activity, according to their levels                                2.   Novel Study-“Charlotte’s Web”: Following the identification of novel title, author and illustrator, they continued with their reading Chapter 1 and identify the theme, setting, characters 



  • The teacher read out the book from the library on different kinds of Media(circle time activity).

  • Sight words and topic vocabulary activity(quiz(spell drill) & broken word activity)as well.   



  1. Students continued with the pronoun work with practice work in pink tape book.

Activities done this week: تمام بچوں کو دو حرفی بنا ملے ہوئے الفاظ لکھنا اور پڑھنا سکھایا جارہاتھ اس کے لئے ایک خوبصورت انداز اختیار کرتے ہوئے دو حرفی ملے ہوئے اور بنا ملے ہوئے الفاظ پڑھائے گئے ۔

بنا ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ کی مثال :  ان ، اس ، دم ، رک ، وہ ، اس   ، اڑ ، رن ، زن ، زم ، در ،   ڈر وغیرہ 

ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ :     کم ، جن ، جب م شب ، گل   ، سن ، شر ، جگ ، کل ،    جل ، کٹ ، وغیرہ 

وہ کون سا پرندہ ہے جس کو سر پر پیر ہوتا ہے ؟ اس کے جواب میں طلباء نے جن پرندوں کا نام بتایا اس کو بورڈ پر لکھا گیا بچوں نے نقل کیا پھر اس کا ” املا” ہوا اکثر بچوں نے مشق نہ کرنے کی وجہ سے پرندوں کا نام لکھنا نہیں سیکھا

       گھر پر زیادہ سے زیادہ دو حرفی ملے ہوئے اور بنا ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ لکھنے کی کوشش کیجیئے تاکہ اسے لکھنے کی عادت پیدا ہو یقین کے ساتھ صحیح لکھ سکیں ۔ 


لکھائے گئے پرندوں کے نام لکھنا سیکھیں تاکہ ” املا” میں درستگی آئے ۔ 

تمام بچوں سے گذارچ ہے کہ وہ علامہ اقبال کی تحریر کردہ دعا یاد کریں ” زبانی ”

  • विराम चिन्ह  कहानी द्वारा अवगत करवाया गया  | छात्रों से पूछा गया | विराम चिह्न  क्या है ? उसका उपयोग क्यों किया जाता है ?प्रश्न कक्षा मे पूछे गए  | उसके उपरांत विराम चिह्न को पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया |
  • विराम चिन्ह मे पुनर्कथन करवाया गया  | उससे सम्बंधित वाक्य दिए गए उन वाक्यों को पढ़कर विराम चिन्ह लगाकर पुन : लिखाया  गया |

  1. Students practiced reading and writing in vattulu and guninthalu.
  2. Students read and wrote missing letter in the given words.

Students were  asked to write questions and answers  based on text and demonstrate their answers before, during, and after reading and complete the worksheet of reading comprehension.






Dear Parent                                                    6 Nov 2019

We are organizing a picnic for the students of C1-C5 to Summer Green Resort, Shameerpet, Medchal. The picnic is scheduled for Sat, 23 Nov 2019.

The resort offers many adventurous activities and the charges applicable are Rs. 400 inclusive of transport and lunch. Interested students can submit the amount to their class teachers latest by Mon 11 Nov.
