Activities done this week          

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that was explained this week for their topic EXPLORATION was  COURAGEOUS.  It was great to see the children getting courageous when they did self-exploration activity(putting on their thinking caps, they reflected upon themselves and identified the 3 things that they are scared of, they self reflected and came up with amazing responses and even how they could overcome it and communicated to shared their ideas to the class.

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that we will emphasize next week for their topic EXPLORATION will be COURAGEOUS.   The activities that you can do for the Learner Profiles mentioned above are as follows, You can encourage your child to dare a distressing activity that you have decided before, then you can talk on the effects of the activity, how it makes feel to try a new thing or whether s/he loves it. You can set a friend that s/he doesn’t have time to play for a long time and make them play together. You can constitute unusual conditions (different breakfast menü, not watchıng tv for a week…) and ask him/her to adopt this new situation.

            Dear Parents, please help them in their work, if you find your child following any of the   learner profiles, click a picture or record a video and share it with us through diary, mail or Bloomz. Thank you! 

 

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

THEME:-  Where we are in place and time.

UNIT:-  Explorations

CENTRAL IDEA:-  Explorations lead to discoveries, opportunities and develop new understandings.

LINES OF INQUIRY:-  

    • Reasons for exploration (historical and personal).
    • How exploration have taken place over time.
    • The consequences of exploration.

 

LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS:

Finding Out:-

  1. Students did the mapping activity by finding the routes of different explorers on the world map.   
  2. Students watched the videos and discussed the important facts about early life, reason, voyages, routes,and achievements of early explorers.

Activities done this week: 

Numbers 

  1. Students were introduced to Divisibility of a number.
  2. Students were able to check if a number is divisible by 2,5, 10, 3, 9 and 6.
  3. Students were able to test the number with different Divisibility test.

  1. Spiralling homework given in class work.

 

Subject: English

Activities done this week:  

READING & WRITING:-  

  1. Novel Study-“Charlotte’s Web”: Following the identification of novel title, author and illustrator, the children will echo read chapter 5 after the teacher and  identify the theme, setting, characters and they will do sight words and new topic vocabulary words activities(quiz(spell drill) & broken word activity. 
  2. Story writing of the explorers using the story element and the writing process.

LISTENING & SPEAKING:

 

  • The teacher read out the book from the library on their new theme(circle time activity).

 

SPELL DRILL:-

 

  • Students wrote vocabulary on exploration. 
  • Students did spell on sight words, spell quiz, jumbled letter activity, miss-spelt words as well. 

 

GRAMMAR:- .

  1. Students practiced more with the conjunctions using FANBOYS rules.

  1. Learn the sight words and vocabulary on exploration given for spell drill activity on Monday.
  2. Story writing work sent.

 

 

Subject: Urdu

Activities done this week:

فعل کسے کہتے ہیں اور اس کو جملوں میں کیسے استعمال کیا جاتاہے پڑھایا گیا اور اس کو جملوں میں استعمال کرنا سکھایا گیا۔ 

بولو اپلیکیشن سے ہر ہفتہ تین کہانی پڑھ کر آنے کے بعد اسے سننا کہ واقعی بچوں نے پڑھا یا نہیں ۔ Read 3 Story from ” BOLO ” 

اردو زبان میں واحد سے جمع بنانے کے تمام قاعدے سمجھا کر پڑھائے گئے ۔ اور واحد سے جمع کی طرف لفظ کیسے منتقل ہوتا ہے بتایا گیا

” فعل ” کو جملوں میں استعمال کرنے کا کام دیا گیا تھا ۔ 

واحد الفاظ کو جمع میں کیسے تبدیل کرتے ہیں کام دیا گیا تھا ۔               محترم والدین بچوں کے ہوم ورک کا خاص خیال رکھیں

कक्षा मे छात्रों को पाठ से सम्बंधित कार्य करवाया गया  | छात्रों को कॉफ़ी की खोज किस प्रकार हुई ? उससे सम्बंधित विडियो दिखाया गया  |उसमे कौनसी L.O.I. है ? वो लिखकर दिए गए प्रश्नों के उत्तर लिखे गए |

कहानी को किस प्रकार लिखा जाता है ? बताया गया  |छात्रों को कहानी स्वयं लिखा |

  1. Students practiced varnamala, signs of achulu and hallulu.
  2. Students wrote compound words and rhyming words in Telugu.
