Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute focussed upon this week “communicator” as the students participated in circle time and different poetry related discussion for which they discussed the important elements of the poem. Children were also “reflective” as they demonstrated their learning in assessments.

This week the students 

  • demonstrated their knowledge of homophones in assessment 
  • did an activity to learn simile (figure of speech) in poetry
  • tried tongue twisters to learn alliterations (figure of speech) in poetry.
  • read the poem “The Shadows”and answered questions as a part of poetry comprehension.

Reading “The good part in me”

Guided Reading 

  • Students read a story at an appropriate level,independently,confidently and with good understanding and will find out meanings and also practice related grammar and write in their guided reading notebook.
  • Strengthened their linguistic skills through task card activity

تین حرفی الفاظ ملاکر لکھنا سیکھایا گیا ۔ جس کے ضمن میں یہ بات بتائی گئی کہ تین حروف کو ملانے کے لئے ضروری ہے کہ پہلے دو حرف بتائے گئے دس حروف : ا  آ د ڈ ذ ر ڑ ز ژ و ‘ میں سے کو ئی نہ ہو تبھی یہ مل سکتے ہیں۔ 

صفت  و موصوف  کی تعریف پڑھائی گئ اور اس کی چار قسموں کے نام بتائے گئے اس کے لئے بچوں کے آرٹ سے استفادہ کیا گیا بچوں نے ۴ پتیوں کے پھول بنائے اور اس مین صفت کی چار قسموں کا نام لکھا ” صفت ذاتی  ، عددی ، مقداری اور نسبتی ۔
