Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute focused upon this week was “inquirer” and “communicator” as students inquired about different human rights and shared their information with the class.

Activities done this week: 

Sorting Out

  • children demonstrated their knowledge of LOI-1 in FA 1 by arranging needs into a pyramid (Maslow’s hierarchy)

Finding Out

  • Students were given slip cutouts on human rights with which they inferred the meaning of UDHR(Universal Declaration of Human Rights) in pairs and shared it with class in their own words.

Making Connection

  • students used their thinking skills to relate the given scenario to different stages of Maslow’s hierarchy and answered questions about it.
  • demonstrated their understanding through BINGO activity by identifying whether the given scenario is an example of a right or a responsibility

Activities done this week: 

  • Students did an activities on fractions on a number line.
  • Students represented given fractions on a number line.
  • Students wrote fractions of given shaded figures.
  • Students practiced fractions by drawing shaded figures of given fractions.
  • Students identified and  wrote definitions on numerator and denominator.

Activities done this week:  


Students read and wrote a passage and identified conjunctions in it

Reading and Writing

  • Pre Assessment – Students wrote a “formal letter” to the principal requesting to grant 4 days leave
  • Students compared a given sample to their writing in groups and noted down the points that were different
  • Students noted down the correct format for formal letter writing 
  • Spell drill of first 8 unit vocabulary words done

Guided Reading & Author Study

  • Students started reading a new story at an appropriate level,independently,confidently and with good understanding and will find out meanings and also practice related grammar and write in their guided reading notebook.
  • Students read their story books by Dr Suess and completed the story wheel with information about their story

  • FA on conjunctions on Mon (3-1-20)
  • Spell drill of all unit vocabulary words on Tue (4-1-20)
  • Complete homework given in grammar notebook

स्टोरी वीवर्स पर से कहानी छात्रों के स्तर के अनुसार वाचन करवाया गया  |

औ की मात्रा मे  पुनर्कथन करवाया जायेगा| उसके उपरांत कहानी मे  वाचन करवाया गया | कहानी से सम्बंधित प्रश्न के उत्तर के पढाए और लिखाए गए | 

अनुस्वार की  मात्रा मे पुनर्कथन  करवाया गया |अनुनासिक  की मात्रा से अवगत करवाया गया   | उसके पश्चात वर्ण विच्छेद पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया  |
