Activities done this week: The learner profile attributes focussed upon this week was “principled”. As students returned from long vacation students settled back into the school routine and practiced being “reflective” while revising holiday homework.

Upcoming activities / HW: Encourage students to be courageous to take up assessments with the right mindset and demonstrate being “Knowledgeable”.

Activities done this week: This week the students 

Tuning In

  • identified different economic terms used in the story “The Hen who wanted to be pink”

Finding Out

  • differentiated between needs and wants, goods, and services (booklet)
  • brainstormed on different ways to collect capital through the story Mrs. Bean
  • analyzed the relationship between supply, demand, and price.

Sorting Out

  • used correct economic words to complete a passage about opening a new business and describe the relationship between supply, demand, and price in FA1

Upcoming activities/ HW: Inquire about the strongest economy in the world. 

 

Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

  • Students recalled the Real-life application of measurements and their units. 
  • Students identified different measurement units used for length,  capacity, and weight. 
  • Students did an activity on the measurement of weight by measuring different objects like duster, notebook, tiffin box, bag using a weighing scale. 
  • Students did an activity on the measurement of length. They measured the length of different objects in their classroom using non-standard and standard units.

Activities done this week:  

Guided Reading & Novel Study

Students read a story at an appropriate level, independently, confidently and with good understanding and will find out meanings and also practice related grammar and write in their guided reading notebook.

Grammar

This week the students:

  • defined pronouns and identified their usage.
  • recognized usage of personal pronouns as first, second and third person through role play.
  • identified the noun in a sentence like a subject and its effect on another noun as an object. 

Reading and Writing 

Students revised revision papers and corrected their mistake

Upcoming activities/ HW: Corrected revision papers stapled in the literature notebook. Prepare well for assessment. 

Guided Reading

Subject: Urdu

Activities done this week:   درجہ چہارم کے بچوں کو امتحان کے پورشن کو سمجھایا گیا اور ان کا اعادہ کیا گیا تاکہ بچے پورے 

یقین کے ساتھ گھر میں دہرائیں اور اچھی طرح امتحان لکھیں ۔ 

بچوں کو پرندوں کا نام لکھنا سکھایا گیا تاکہ اس کی مشق کریں اور بنا دیکھیں نام لکھ سکیں ۔ اس کے لئے خوبصورت انداز اختیار کیا گیا 

” وہ کون سا پرندہ ہے جس کو سر پر پیر ہوتا ہے ؟ پوچھا گیا اس کے جواب میں بچوں نے پرندوں کے نام اردو میں بتائے ۔ بورڈ پر سے نقل کیا اور ” املا” کے لئے تیاری کیا گیا ۔

Activities done this week:

 

  • सरल  वाक्य मे पुनर्कथन करवाया गया  | दिए गए शब्दों मे वाचन करवाया गया   ,उसके उपरांत दिए गए शब्द के वाक्य एक _एक छात्र  के द्वारा सफेद पट्ट पर लिखवाया गया |
  • कहानी को दिखाकर उस कथा  पर विचार विमर्श किया गया |छात्रों से भिन्न _भिन्न प्रश्न पूछे गए  |उसके उपरांत कहानी से सम्बंधित चित्र लेखन करवाया गया |
  • शब्द लेखन मे पुनर्कथन करवाया गया |छात्रों ने  दिए गए चित्र को देखकर उनके नाम लिखे और कुछ छात्रों ने अक्षरमाला  मे अभ्यास किया | वाचन (सरल वाक्य ) मे आकलन लिया गया |
