Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The Learner profile INQUIRERS AND THINKERS made the students explore, ask, gather information and put on their thinking caps to find out about different communities around the world. It was good to see students identifying, trying to understand and absorb the new information gathered. They were fascinated to know arts is so much beyond painting and drawing.

Upcoming activities / HW:

The  LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that we will be focussing next week is being Inquirers as we move ahead with the topic and children become more keen to learn about  ARTS.

 Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Activities done this week: Students read about different forms of art in detail within groups and shared their findings with the other groups. They differentiated and sorted the different forms of communication in different communities through a mindmap discussion in class.( Calligraphy, music, drama,painting, drawing & dance). They also watched videos on different forms of arts expressed by communities.


Upcoming activities/ HW: Students will do an inquiry on different forms of dance styles in India and list names of structures which have art carvings present in India and all over the world

Subject: English

Activities done this week


  1. Sight words and vocabulary words
  2. Guided Reading:Students did visualisation of a story and illustrated on paper.Students are doing a daily morning reading and identifying punctuations and nouns.  


  1. The teacher read out the books from the library on Arts(circle time activity) 
  2. Students enjoyed the story with a moral. 


Students did punctuations to assess themselves for FA-1. Students recapitulated Nouns along with common and proper nouns. They also assessed themselves by differentiating between proper nouns and common nouns.They were introduced to collective nouns and watched a video on collective nouns.


  1. Activities with vocabulary words.
  2. Sight word spell drill was done.
  3. Sight word assessment conducted.

Writing:Students will do a picture comprehension as homework to assess their writing skills.


Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

  • Students were recapitulated Ascending  and descending order. 
  • Students were comparing 4 digit numbers.

Subject: Urdu

Activities done this week:  دو حرفی الفاظ پڑھائے اور لکھائے گئے اس کے علاوہ کہانی “ ہوشیار موچی “ لکھنا اور پیراگراف کی صورت میں پڑھنا سکھایا گیا ۔

Students did hands on activity using clay and letters to make vowels in Telugu.

Students practiced achullu letters అ నుండి ౠ వరకు.

Students read and write the Students have practiced the Telugu Language Special Song for Assembly.
