Activities done this week

 This week students focussed on “Inquirers” and “Thinkers” as they inquired about rights and responsibilities of individuals and explored Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. They put on their thinking caps to understand the hierarchy of needs from lowest to highest.

Activities done this week:


  • Students brainstormed on childrens’ rights and responsibilities and discussed how their finding differs from the other
  • Students differentiated between their needs and wants through sorting activity and wrote down the definitions and unit vocabulary in their notebook  
  • Students assessed themselves in SA by writing a report on their favourite animal
  • Students watched a video and identified unfulfilled needs of our community and stated the action to be taken through an activity on Indian flag


  • Students demonstrated their understanding through Maslow’s hierarchy by arranging the needs(physiological, safety, love,esteem and self-actualisation) from lowest to highest and wrote in their notebooks.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

  • Students practice word problems based on division 
  • Students were introduced to fractions using manipulatives. 
  • Students wrote FA on multiplication and division. 
  • Students learned about half and quarter and learned how to write fractions for given shaded figures.

Activities done this week:  

Guided Reading and Novel Study:

  • Students read story at an appropriate level,independently,confidently and with good understanding and will find out meanings and also practice related grammar and write in their guided reading notebook
  • Students read the third chapter “Toothpaste art” in Mooli’s Adventure.



  • Students understood the use and importance of conjunctions through an activity where in they worked in pairs to pick two separate sentences from different bowls and connected the sentences using the right conjunction
  • Students analysed use of conjunctions like “for” “and” “nor” “but” “or” “yet” “so” and wrote in their notebook. 
  • Students learnt usage of conjunctions through”FANBOYS” like “for”,”and”,”nor”,but”,”or”,yet”,so”.
  • Students demonstrated more understanding of conjunctions through application of knowledge and practiced in their notebook.

Activities done this week:

تین حرفی الفاظ کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے جملے بنانا سکھایا گیا  ان جملوں میں خاص طور سے cloud activity کے ذریعہ بنا ملے ہوئے تین حرفی الفاظ بنانا سکھایا جائے گا ۔ 

جملوں میں اسم کی پہچان کرنا اور اسے اسم خاص اور اسم عام کے زمروں میں زمرہ بندی کرنا سکھایا گیا ۔ اسم خاص اور اسم عام میں فرق سکھایا گیا ۔ 



تین حروف والے ملے ہوئے الفاظ لکھنا سکھایا گیا  اور ان کو جملوں میں استعمال کیا گیا ۔ تاکہ طلباء میں ایک ساتھ دو صلاحیتیں اجاگر ہوں ۔

تین حرف کو ملاکر الفاظ بنانا سکھایا گیا۔ اس کی مشق کریں ، اور اسم خاص اور اسم عام میں فرق سمجھِں

Activities done this week:

कक्षा मे उपविषय से अवगत करवाया जायेगा | जैसे की कलम – मन और काल इस प्रकार पतंग  बनाकर उसमे शब्द लिखवाया गया | 

श्रुतलेख  लिया गया | उसके पश्चात  दिए गए शब्दों के वाक्यों मे प्रयोग किया गया |

कविता को पढ़ाया गया | ओ की मात्रा मे पुनर्कथन करवाया गया  | उसके पश्चात औ की मात्रा से अवगत करवाया गया | औ की मात्रा के शब्दों को पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया  |
