Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile attributes focussed this week was Reflective and Knowledgeable. “Reflective” as students appeared in assessments and “Knowledgeable” as students gained new information about changes occuring in nature due to human interaction and natural disasters.

Upcoming activities / HW

The learner profile attribute that we will emphasize next week as well will be “REFLECTIVE” as the students will assess themselves for SA and “INQUIRER” as we begin our next topic “Economics”.If you find your child following any of the learner profiles, please click a picture or record a video and share it with us through diary, mail or Bloomz. Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

THEME:- Where we are in place and time

TOPIC:-  Landforms and settlements

CENTRAL IDEA:-  The earth’s physical geography has an impact on human interactions and settlements

LINES OF INQUIRY:-

1.Variability of physical geography around the world

2.The relationship between location and settlement

3.Impact of human interactions on the physical environment

Activities done this week: 

  • Students assessed themselves in FA2 reflecting on the knowledge gathered in LOI-1 People use maps and globes to explore the world and LOI-2 How the geography affects earth of stand alone topic. 
  • Students watched a few videos relating to pollution, oil spills, deforestation etc and created their own headlines.(Visible Thinking Routines)

  • Students demonstrated their understanding through Dictogloss activity.They were shown videos related to global warming, deforestation and its effects and causes. The students’ took down the key words and use it as a base to define them.

  • Students learnt about the latitudes and longitudes and identified the circle of latitudes through an activity where in the students  drew a circle on the floor with latitude lines and named them.

Next week the students will assess themselves in FA3 and SA and move ahead with our next topic “Economics”.

Activities done this week: 

  • Students did enough practice of subtraction problems.
  • Students recapitulated data handling and ways to represent data.
  • Students solved tally charts and pictographs problems.

  • Problems given in notebooks.

Subject: English

Activities done this week:  

Grammar:

  • Students  revised the work done for the whole week, and practiced modal verbs and their usage for the assessment.
  • Students  assessed themselves in modal verbs in given sentences and comprehension and evaluated themselves through FA2
  • Students watched videos about the usage of adjectives and learnt about its types

  •     Students read story at an appropriate level,independently,confidently and with good   understanding and identified the modal verbs and its type.

Next week students will learn about the Degrees of comparison for Adjectives and usage of Adjectives in descriptive writing.

Activities done this week: 

طلباء کو اردو زبان کی ” گنتی ” ایک سے ۳۰ تک پڑھایا اور لکھایا گیا اس کے علاوہ انہیں یاد کرایا گیا اکثر طلباء نے کلاس میں ہی یاد کر کے سنایا 

تین حرفی الفاظ کو ادامہ دیا گیا اور حصہ تین بھی پڑھایا گیا جن کو اکثر بچوں نے پورے یقین کے ساتھ پڑھنا سیکھا

گنتی کو یاد کرنا ہے اور اسے بنا دیکھے لکھ کر بتانا ہے اور نمبرات کے نام اردو میں بتانا ہے

Activities done this week:

कक्षा मे चिड़ियाँ की आँख  कहानी को गया ,उसके उपरांत शब्दों कोअव्यवस्थित रूप से लिखे  गए ,उन शब्दों को स्पष्टीकरण द्वारा वर्णमाला के अनुसार सही क्रम मे समझकर लिखना बताया गया |  |

पुनर्कथन करवाया  गया | कक्षा मे पाठ से सम्बंधितजैसे की महासागर  के नाम पढाए और लिखाए गए  

उपविषय से अवगत करवाया गया  |उसके उपरांत सरल वाक्य किस प्रकार लिखते है ,उनको स्पष्टीकरण  द्वारा समझाया गया | कुछ शब्द सफेद पट्ट पर दिए गए उनके मिलान के द्वारा  वाक्य लेखन करवाया गए |

Activities done this week: 

Students read and write words with hallulu.[ట నుండి న వరకు].

Students wrote and learn vocabulary words of landforms in telugu.

Activities done this week:  Students learnt to browse images, definition related to Landforms and they copied and pasted  in a powerpoint document.

Activities done this week:Word Game alphabets were given to the students they have to select the alphabets and have to make five new words for the chosen alphabet
