Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute focused upon this week was “Inquirer” as the students inquired  about the case study of Malala Yousufzai and “Communicator” as they shared their thoughts and ideas as what led the talibans to deny the basic rights.

Activities done this week: 

  • Students  did a case study on Right to education( Case study was based on the life and struggles of Malala Yousufai for her right to education)
  • Students read the case study of Malala, watched videos and asked and answered questions about Malala.



  • Students demonstrated their understanding through sorting out cause & effect through fishbone activity (Consequences of rights not fulfilled and consequences of responsibilities not fulfilled)
  • Students demonstrated their knowledge of LOI-2 in FA-2 by defining the terms(Rights, Responsibility, Rules and Community)

Case study of Iqbal- The brave boy from Pakistan along with question and answers


Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

  • Students learned to convert improper fractions to mixed fractions by drawing fractions. 
  • Students also converted mixed to improper by the same method. 
  • Students learned and identified unit fractions. 
  • Students learned how to compare fractions by drawing the given fractions and comparing them.

  • H.w problems given in notebook.

Activities done this week:  

Reading & Novel study:

  • Students started reading a new story at an appropriate level,independently,confidently and with good understanding and will find out meanings and also practice related grammar and write in their guided reading notebook.
  • Students read chapter 7 Puris for dinner and chapter 8 Second try of “The Adventures of Mooli” and answered the questions.



  • Students recalled unit vocabulary during spell drill. 
  • Students were introduced to homophones through find the word with similar sound activity
  • Students defined homophones and carried out activities related to homophones
