Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile focused upon this week was “ Inquirers” as the students inquired about the rights and “Reflective” on the responsibilities that comes along with each rights.

Activities to be done:Let the student know their responsibility for each right they enjoy.Teach them to be responsible towards their books, clothing and money, to be respectful towards their elders and take care of their belongings.

Activities done this week:

  • Students were given scenarios to relate with Maslow’s hierarchy to identify which need has been fulfilled/not fulfilled.
  • Students demonstrated their knowledge of LOI-1 in FA 1 by arranging needs into a pyramid that included (from lowest level to highest level) in Maslow’s hierarchy.
  • Students completed their reflection sheet for Unit- 4 Adaptation.
  • Students inferred the meaning of UDHR(Universal Declaration of Human Rights) and rights in pairs and found out the meaning using dictionary and explained in their own words.
  •  Students related to their human rights and responsibilities in their community.


Upcoming activities/HW:

  • Students will learn unit vocabulary of rights and responsibilities for assessment.
  • HW worksheet on rights and responsibilities given.


Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

  • Students did an activities on fractions on a number line.
  • Students represented given fractions on a number line.
  • Students wrote fractions of given shaded figures.
  • Students practiced fractions by drawing shaded figures of given fractions.
  • Students identified and  wrote definitions on numerator and denominator.

  • H.w questions worksheet given.

Subject: English

Activities done this week

Guided reading & Novel Study:

  • Students began with new set of books for guided reading for their reading levels. They did cover page.
  • Students read “Toothpaste art” and “Bully on wheels“ and wrote the meaning of difficult words.


  • Students did conjunctions exercises and identified the correct conjunctions. They also made sentences with conjunctions using”FANBOYS”.


  • Students were introduced to formal letters. They pre-assessed themselves for formal letter.
  • Students were introduced to different types of leave letters(suffering from fever, death in the family, marriage function, hospitalized due to an injury or a fall). 
  • Students learnt the format of formal letter and wrote in their notebook

Subject: Hindi

Activities done this week:

स्टोरी वीवर्स पर से कहानी छात्रों के स्तर के अनुसार वाचन करवाया गया  |

औ की मात्रा मे  पुनर्कथन करवाया जायेगा| उसके उपरांत कहानी मे  वाचन करवाया गया | कहानी से सम्बंधित प्रश्न के उत्तर के पढाए और लिखाए गए | 

अनुस्वार की  मात्रा मे पुनर्कथन  करवाया गया |अनुनासिक  की मात्रा से अवगत करवाया गया   | उसके पश्चात वर्ण विच्छेद पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया  |
