Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The Learner profile explained this week was a blend of THINKERS and BALANCED. The students got a chance to explore, ask, gather information and tried to balance it by bringing out similarities and differences between the two forms. It was good to see students identifying, trying to understand and absorb the new information gathered.


Upcoming activities / HW:

The IB Learner profile for next week will be INQUIRERS and THINKERS as the students will be identifying, exploring and gathering information on the different types of visual arts, performance arts and literature arts


Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Activities done this week: 

HEME:-   How we express ourselves

TOPIC:-  The Arts

CENTRAL IDEA:-  The Arts provides us the opportunity to reflect on, extend and enjoy creativity.


1.The different forms of Arts – Function

2.How Art is unique and personal – Perspective

3.How communities express themselves using Arts – Connection


Finding out:-

  • Students sorted the similarities and differences between the two forms of arts(visual arts and performance arts). They got to know how two forms of art can share similarities yet have differences between them
  • Students did a brainstorming on different forms of arts. Through a group based activity they figured out the different forms of arts
  • Students did 10 X 2 activity and later through a group activity recalled what they saw  on paper
  • Students did a see-think-wonder grouping activity for tabulating different forms of arts
  • Students recalled their understanding of LOI-1 and wrote FA-1



Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

  • Students were recapitulated Ascending  and descending order. 
  • Students were comparing 4 digit numbers.

  • H.W worksheet given.



Subject: English

Activities done this week

Literature & spell drill:

  • Students identified blends and practiced to make new words by joining two letters


  • Students did a shared reading activity to identify the punctuation from the passage


  •  Students did a comprehension on father’s day passage


  • Students recapitulated Punctuation for upcoming assessment. They brainstormed different types of punctuation and where it should be used

Activities done this week:  دو حرفی ملے ہوئے الفاظ کو بنانا اور پڑھنا سکھایا گیا ۔ اور فلیش کارڈ سے دو حرفی الفاظ بنانے کا طریقہ استعمال کیا گیا 


Upcoming activities/ HW: زیادہ سے زیادہ ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ بنائیں تاکہ دو حرف کو ملا کر لکھنا آسکے

Students read and practiced the achulu [ ఉ,ఊ ].

Students has done match the following work in alphabets in telugu.

Students have practiced the telugu Achulu song.

We celebrated the 4th of July as Father’s day. Special thanks to (Mr Syed Imtiaz Raza, Mr Shabbir Ali Mirza, Mr Syed Ahsan Ali Hyder, Mr Khasim Hussain, Mr Mir Sadath Ali Razvi, Mr Tahwar Ali Mirza &  Mr Syed Alamdar Raza) for giving us their precious time to be a part of Father’s Day celebrations
