The learner profile attribute focused upon this week was “Communicator” as the students communicated their thoughts and ideas on “Cleanliness” in assembly and “Open minded” as they participated with enthusiasm in the “Business Mela” activity.

Central Idea: Overtime living things need to adapt in order to survive.

This week the students

reflected on the topic economics by filling up the reflection sheet.

Taking Action

  • created and presented advertisement for their choice of product.
  • set up a stall during Business Mela based upon their survey (the highly demanded item) and calculated investment, sale and profit.

  • synthesized the central idea of new unit – Adaptation
  • Students watched videos and defined the terms like habitat, biomes etc

Activities done this week: 

  • Students played mental math games on multiplication and also learned the concept of money. 
  • Students practiced multiplication problems using 2, 3, 4 and  5. 
  • Students learned and practiced multiplication using box method.
  • Students applied their knowledge of money in business fair.

  • learn table of 2, 3, 4, and 5 and practice multiplication problems.

Activities done this week

Reading:

  • Students read texts at an appropriate level,independently, confidently and with good understanding and write related grammar mentioned in lesson plan in guided reading notebook.

  • Students learnt about acrostic poems and made an acrostic poem using rhyming words for Father, Mother and school.

Upcoming activities/ HW

 Next week students will learn in detail about adverbs of manner and adverbs of time.

Activities done this week: تمام بچوں کو دو حرفی الفاظ جملوں میں پڑھائے گئے طلباء نے از خود سوچ کر ایسے جملوں کو بنایا اور اس کی تقریری صلاحیت بتائی ۔ 

اکثر بچوں نے بورڈ پر لکھے گئے تمام دو حرفی الفاظ کو جملوں میں استعمال کیا اور اس کی روخوانی کیا ۔ اور ” املا” کے لئے تیار ہونے کا وعدہ کیا ۔ 

اسکول میں ” جشن میلاد النبی ” کے موقع پر انٹر اسکول ” نعتیہ مقابلہ ” ہوا جس میں ہر درجہ کے طلباء نے شرکت کیا اور انفرادی یا اجتماعی انعام حاصل کیا ۔
