Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week:

This week the learner profile attribute that we focussed upon was “Inquirer” as children  started taking huge interest in natural calamities and their effects on the environment and with these attributes we have concluded the topic landforms and initiated inquiry for the next topic “Economics”.

Upcoming activities / HW: For the upcoming holidays students are expected to be “courageous” by completing their holiday homework and “reflective” by revising their work and preparing for upcoming summative assessments.


Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

THEME:- How we organize ourselves

TOPIC:-  Economics

CENTRAL IDEA:-  Economic activity relies on systems of production, exchange and consumption of goods and services.


1.The role of supply and demand (Function )(Production)

3.Our responsibility as consumers (Responsibility) (Rights)

Activities done this week:

  • Students assessed themselves in FA3 by sorting out cause & effect through fishbone task sheet and map pointing of  the circle of Latitudes
  • Students reflected and identified their favourite and difficult topics done during the unit in reflection sheet.Students recalled all the activities done during the unit and identified the most enjoyable and the most difficult part of the unit.
  • Students prepared themselves for SA and presented  the information gathered on natural disasters, their effects and causes on the physical environment through JAM session.
  • Students  identified the new theme(How we organize ourselves) pertaining to their unit of inquiry (Economics)
  • Students were given an introduction about the relationship between supply and demand and needs and wants. They did a group activity where in they identified the needs and demands.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

  • Students prepared tally Marks and pictograph and also interpret the data.
  • Students recall 3-D shapes and also learned about faces, edges and vertices of 3-D shapes.

Activities done this week:


  • This week students learnt more about adjectives and compared different nouns and analysed degrees of comparison. Children also identified irregular adjectives.

Reading and Writing

  • Students read Guided reading books according to their level and created a Frayer model for difficult vocabulary words.
  • Students listed steps of writing process and looked at a picture and wrote picture composition.


  •     Students read story at an appropriate level,independently,confidently and with good understanding and identified the adjectives and wrote it in their notebooks.

Upcoming activities/ HW:

1.Picture composition, use writing process steps to complete the composition..

2.Complete the tic-tac-toe given in the literature notebook.

  • गिनती मे पुनर्कथन करवाया गए | उसके पश्चात  दिन के नाम पढाए और लिखाए गए |
  • सरल वाक्य को प्रथम अध्यापिका जी पढ़ा| उसके उपरांत कक्षा मे  व्यक्तिगत रूप से  वाचन करवाया गया  |
  • उपविषय से अवगत करवाया गया | जैसे _ कमल_ कम ,कल और मल  इस प्रकार गतिविधि द्वारा शब्द को पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया |
