Tuning in: 

  • Students carried out break up of the central idea into simpler words to comprehend it easily and noted down in their notebooks.
  • Students were synthesized vocabulary used in unit with ease by drafting unit vocabulary. 
  • They interpreted and identified emotional characteristics expressed in a story.
  • Children articulated their understanding of emotions by preparing an outline of self with appropriate emotions they experienced at the moment.
  • They also analyzed personality traits by playing 2 truths and 1 lie game. 


Upcoming activities/ HW: Complete the “All about me” worksheet.

Formative Assessment on the first line of inquiry (physical, social and emotional characteristics) on Wednesday (24/7/19)

Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 

  • Students identified the place value of a number by drawing abacus in their notebooks.
  • Watched video to understand the non-standard unit of measurement


Upcoming activities/ HW:  Make an outline of the foot on worksheet sent.

Formative Assessment on Thursday(25/7/19) Topics: Place value and properties of 2D shapes.

Activities done this week:

Listening and speaking:

  • Students recap l blends.
  • Spell and build words with r blends as they played several team games and cut and pasted the r blends on the correct pictures.

Reading and Writing: 

  • Spell drill of sight words was done and they wrote new sight words in their notebooks.
  • Wrote words with R blends in their notebooks.
  • They read the phrases and note down in their notebooks.


Upcoming activities/ HW: Complete the “r” blends worksheet.

Spell drill on Tuesday (23/7/19) practice new sight words.


Subject: Urdu

Activities done this week: اُردو  کے ہندسے ایک سے لیکر بیس تک پڑھتے ہوئے لکھگ گیا اور کلاس میں موجد اشیاء کے ذریعے ایک سے بیس تک گنتی کی گئی۔

اعراب زبر , زیر اور پیش کا اعادہ ان کی آوازوں کو پڑھتے ہوئے کیا گیا اور حروف تہجی کے حروف الف سے ض تک کے حروف پر اعراب زبر کو لگا کر پڑھتے ہوئے لکھنا سکھا۔

Upcoming activities/ HW: حروف تہجی کے حروف پر اعراب زبر کے ساتھ پڑھتے ہوئے لکھئیے۔
