The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week for their unit Natural Hazards was being an INQUIRER & THINKER. It was great to see the children being inquirers putting on their thinking caps by identifying the different forms of natural disasters, inquiring about it, getting their pictures, imagining and drawing what it looks like.

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that we will emphasize next week as well will be INQUIRERS & THINKERS. CENTRAL IDEA:-  Human beings have devised ways to prepare for and cope with hazards.

LINES OF INQUIRY:-

1.The different natural disasters.

  1. The impact of hazards on the environment.
  2. Ways in which people cope with hazards.

LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS:

  • Students performed role play  on natural hazards as a part of their assessment.
  • Students wrote unit reflection.
  • Students were introduced to new unit “Media”.

Activities done this week: 

DATA HANDLING

  • Students were introduced to Bar graph and when is it used.
  • Students learned how to plot a Bar graph on a given data.
  • Integration of Math with their UOI topic Natural Hazards was done by plotting of Data on different states affected by Natural Hazards.
  • Students learned and practiced Number patterns.
  • Math revision Homework worksheet given for practice of SA1

Activities done this week: 

طلباء کو اردو زبان کی ” گنتی ” ایک سے ۵۰ تک پڑھایا اور لکھایا گیا اس کے علاوہ انہیں یاد کرایا گیا اکثر طلباء نے کلاس میں ہی یاد کر کے سنایا 

تین حرفی الفاظ کو ادامہ دیا گیا اور حصہ تین بھی پڑھایا گیا جن کو اکثر بچوں نے پورے یقین کے ساتھ پڑھنا سیکھا

رباعیات پڑھایا گیا ہر بچے کو ۱۵ رباعی یاد ہے ماشاء اللہ اور سب کے عنوانات مختلف ہیں

گنتی کو یاد کرنا ہے اور اسے بنا دیکھے لکھ کر بتانا ہے اور نمبرات کے نام اردو میں بتانا ہے

  • पुनर्कथन करवाया गया  |उसके उपरांत बारहखड़ी को पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया  |
  • प्रथम अध्यापिकाजी ने  वाचन किया ,उसके उपरांत  तीन छात्र ने पढ़ा ,पुन: सभी ने  मिलकर मौन वाचन किया और उच्च स्वर मे सत्र रूप से  पढ़ा और उससे सम्बंधित प्रश्न के उत्तर लिखे गए | 
  • पुनर्कथन करवाया गया | स्पष्टीकरण द्वारा गतिविधि सहित मात्रा बताई गई |जैसे _ दिन -दीन आदि | ऐसे शब्दों को पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया |

The Summative Assessment-1, scheduled for 24-29 Oct is round the corner. Please ensure that students take their academics seriously and do help them in preparing for the same. Attendance is mandatory, except during an emergency.
