Activities done this week:

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that was explained this week for their new topic Media was being COMMUNICATOR.  It was great to see the children putting on their thinking caps, identifying the different kinds of Media, brainstorming and communicating to share their ideas to the class and also answer the questions prompted to them.

Upcoming activities / HW

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTES that we will emphasize next week as well will be COMMUNICATOR. CENTRAL IDEA:- The media informs, influences and reflects the values and opinions of its audience.

LINES OF INQUIRY:-  

      1.The different kinds of media and their roles .

           1.Students learnt about the advantages and disadvantages of social media.

           2.Students were introduced to elements of  print advertisement.

           3.Students wrote notes about elements of print advertisement.

           4.Students watched a slideshare about the print media. They learnt 1. What is print

               Media?  2. Advantages and disadvantages of  print media .

          5.Students were introduced to the second line of inquiry and discussed the impact of                                                                media in their lives.

                Activities done this week:

         Number system ( Multiplication)

             1.Students learned different properties of Multiplication and did practice sums on it.

            2.Students played quiz on Khan Academy to improve their logical thinking skills.

            3.Students were able to multiply a number by 1 digit number.

    READING & WRITING:-  

       1.Students read the task cards and answer the given questions. 

  1. Sight words and vocabulary words recap was done .
  2. Students read the Charlotte web chapter 3 and answer the given questions.
  3. Students were introduced to persuasive writing and its purpose and watched videos.
  4. Students made graphic organiser on the given topic  using “OREO”.

    Listening and SPEAKING:

  1. Students read their level storybook in the guided reading period and tried to summarize the story .

     GRAMMAR:- .

            1. Students were introduced to pronouns and its type and practice in the class.

     Activities done this week: تمام بچوں کو دو حرفی بنا ملے ہوئے الفاظ لکھنا اور پڑھنا سکھایا جارہاتھ اس کے لئے ایک خوبصورت انداز اختیار کرتے ہوئے دو حرفی ملے ہوئے اور بنا ملے ہوئے الفاظ پڑھائے گئے ۔

بنا ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ کی مثال :  ان ، اس ، دم ، رک ، وہ ، اس   ، اڑ ، رن ، زن ، زم ، در ،   ڈر وغیرہ 

ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ :     کم ، جن ، جب م شب ، گل   ، سن ، شر ، جگ ، کل ،    جل ، کٹ ، وغیرہ 

وہ کون سا پرندہ ہے جس کو سر پر پیر ہوتا ہے ؟ اس کے جواب میں طلباء نے جن پرندوں کا نام بتایا اس کو بورڈ پر لکھا گیا بچوں نے نقل کیا پھر اس کا ” املا” ہوا اکثر بچوں نے مشق نہ کرنے کی وجہ سے پرندوں کا نام لکھنا نہیں سیکھا

       گھر پر زیادہ سے زیادہ دو حرفی ملے ہوئے اور بنا ملے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاظ لکھنے کی کوشش کیجیئے تاکہ اسے لکھنے کی عادت پیدا ہو یقین کے ساتھ صحیح لکھ سکیں ۔ 

لکھائے گئے پرندوں کے نام لکھنا سیکھیں تاکہ ” املا” میں درستگی آئے ۔ 

تمام بچوں سے گذارچ ہے کہ وہ علامہ اقبال کی تحریر کردہ دعا یاد کریں ” زبانی ”

       Activities done this week: 

       1.विराम चिन्ह  कहानी द्वारा अवगत करवाया गया  | छात्रों से पूछा गया | विराम चिह्न  क्या है ? उसका उपयोग क्यों किया जाता है ?            प्रश्न कक्षा मे पूछे गए  | उसके उपरांत विराम चिह्न को पढ़ाया और लिखाया गया |

       2.विराम चिन्ह मे पुनर्कथन करवाया गया  | उससे सम्बंधित वाक्य दिए गए उन वाक्यों को पढ़कर विराम चिन्ह लगाकर पुन : लिखाया             गया  |

        1.Students did practice in reading and writing  vattulu and guninthalu.
