students learned the concept of place values – tens and ones.

used pencils and ice cream sticks  to deduce meaning of the tens and ones 

base ten blocks were used to make numbers in groups

students will identify place value of digits in number by coloring relevant blocks for a given number in the worksheet

Activities done this week

Students learn opposites by observing classroom environment

Students participated in an activity by finding the cutouts of appropriate opposite and pasted on paper,

followed by writing the opposites in their notebooks

Students wrote the sight words they learned in spell drill.

عید ہولی وغیرہ کے بارے میں اپنی پسند اور نا پسند اور ان میں ہونے والی خاص سرگرمیوں کے بارے میں 

اپنی رائے کا اظہار کیاگیا اور سکھی ہوئی نظموں کو زبانی پڑھا گیا۔

LE:اردو کے نمبرگنتی  کو بورڈ کی مدد سے لکھ کر پڑھا گیا اور کلاس میں موجود چیزوں کی مدد سے گنتی کی گئی۔ 

بعد میں کسی بھی حرف سے نا ملنے والے حروف جیسے الف۔ الف مد۔ د ۔ ڈ۔ ذ۔ ر۔ ڑ۔ ز۔ ژ اور و کو پڑھتے ہوئے لکھیں گے اور ان کی مثال ک لئے چند الفاظ جیسے اب ۔ دام ادرک وغیرہ کا طرف کرواتے ہوئے سمجھا۔ 

اردو کی نظم دیش ہمارا ہندوستان کو ترنم کے ساتھ پڑھتے ہوئے یاد کیاگیا اور ۔نظم عید کا چاند کو زبانی سبھی ک ساتھ ملکرپڑھاگیا ۔

students sort out  the festivals into religious, personal and  national festivals according to their features through picture pasting activity

Students were  familiarized with international festivals.

And watched the videos of international festivals

Students drew and colour their favorite festival  and pasted on the chart.

  •  Students  wrote numbers 201-300 in notebook.
  •  Students did tally marks in note book.
  •  Students were introduced to data handling and bar graph through  pictograph activities chosen by students in UOI.
  • Patterns were introduced  using shapes and colours, 
  •  Students made patterns using blocks.
  • Students drew different patterns on paper.
  • Children used cutouts of different shapes and pasted them on paper to make patterns.

  • Students played a game of chits to speak about nouns.
  • Students write the definition of noun in their notebook along with a few examples.
  • students were able to identify nouns in a sentence and circle them.

طلباء حروف تہجی کے حروف کو پڑھتے ہوئے ان سے آنے والی اشیاء کے ناموں کو جانا اور حروف تہجی حروف ص سے ے تک لکھتے ہوئے ان حروف کی آوازوں کو

Activities done this week: students understood the meaning of following learner profiles: Knowledgeable, Open-minded, Principled, Reflective and Thinker through role play and stories. They also listened to stories on independence and curiosity attitude.

 New topic: Celebrations was introduced though cut & tell story “Reena’s birthday”. 

Break up of central idea was carried out after a group activity done by students to decode the meaning of each difficult word of the central idea

students brainstormed and drafted unit related vocabulary. 

Students filled in the KWL sheet (What they already Know about the topic, What they Want to know about the topic and towards the end of unit they will complete the L column about what new they Learned about the topic)

Upcoming activities/ HW: Bring one artifact (object) used in celebration on Monday

Pre Assessment was held to assess the prior knowledge of

numbers 1-50 and number names (1-20)

before, after, between numbers, counting and ascending order

Students wrote numbers 1- 100 in their notebooks with place value

number names 1-20 in their notebooks

Upcoming activities/ HW: Student must complete homework sheet sent to revise number names and missing numbers.

 Subject: English

Pre Assessment was held to check the prior knowledge of three letter words.

Reading assessment was carried out to assess phonics basics of students by reading sight words (2-3 letters).

 Students played quiz in groups to create words with L blends (cl-, bl-, pl-, fl-, gl-, sl-). L- blends were then written in notebook.

Upcoming activities/ HW: students must identify beginning blends for the given images in the homework sheet sent.

Activities done this week:طلباء ہوٹ سیٹ کے ذریعے اپنے ساتھیوں کے بتائے گے اکشن کی مدد سےاُردو کے حروف اور دو حرفی الفاظ کی شناخت کی گئی ۔

اُردو کے تمام حروف کو ٖصحیح تلفظ کے ساتھ پڑھنا سیکھا اور ان حروف کو اسٹروک کی مدد سے لکھا ساتھ ساتھ حروف تہجی کے حروف کے اعداد کو جانتے ہوئے ان حروف کو بُک میں لکھا گیا۔
