  •   Importance of transportation in our life 
  •  development of the forms of transportation means through time 

Activities done this week

 Finding out

  • Students brainstorm on ‘importance of transportation in our life’ in a group.
  • Students strengthen their knowledge about the importance of transport through shared reading.
  • Differentiate and list the differences between public and private transport.
  • watched the videos on the importance of transport followed by a quicker activity.

Sorting out

  • Students organised their ideas, under Generate Sort and Connect thinking routine to identify the purpose of having different means of transport under major terms.
  • Recognized how transport is important and write question and answer in their notebook.

  • Students strengthen the concept of subtraction through different activities.
  • Students used manipulatives to solve the subtraction.
  • Practised horizontal and vertical single digit subtraction in their notebook.

  • Read, infer and solve word problems in their notebook

Reading and writing

  • Students used primary colour items to create a mind map and compose a colour poem.
  • Students made phrases using colour and related things to make a colour poem
  • Read and comprehend the given passage on transport.
  • Describe a ship and a car in their own sentences.

Listening and speaking 

Students listened to the story in the read-aloud and identified preposition and pronoun in the story.

Grammar 

  • Described a picture using prepositions.

Formative assessment

  •  completed formative assessment on preposition and making sentences using sight words

Activities done this week: بے جوڑ اور جوڑے ہوئے چند دو حرفی الفاظ کے ساتھ ایک حرف کو لگا 

کر تین حرفی بے جوڑ اور جوڑے ہوئے الفاظ کو بنایا گیا اور ان کو پڑھتے ہوئے لکھنا سیکھا۔ اس کے علاوہ لب پہ آتی ہے دعا کو زبانی سنا گیا اور پڑھایا گیا۔
